POLICE ARREST TWO IN EBONYI OVER KILLING OF POLICEMAN FOR ALLEGED ARM ROBBERY INVOLVEMENT

Police in Ebonyi State have commenced investigations into the killing of a police officer for an alleged involvement in armed robbery.
A statement by the Police Relations Officer in the State, Mr. Joshua Ukandu, explained that a media report indicated that the Police Officer was overpowered by vigilance members who killed him.
The statement further explained that investigations had commenced into the matter with two suspects arrested in connection with the killing.
The statement explained that the Command would address the factual aspect of the issue after the completion of the investigation.
