NIPOST RESTRUCTURING FOR BETTER SERVICE DELIVERY

NIPOSTThe Nigeria Postal Service, NIPOST says it is restructuring for better service delivery and relevance.

The Zonal Manager, South-East, Mr. Willy Ekong stated this on the occasion of the 2017 World Post Day in Enugu.

Mr. Ekong who was represented by the Assistant General Manager, Operations, Mrs. Rita Ajene explained that the restructuring has led to the creation of seven Zones and seven commercial business units and the emergence of four new products.

He advised members of the public to avail themselves of these services by visiting their website at www.nipostgov.ng or their various offices across the Zone.

 The Chairman of the occasion, Mr. Andrew Okoli urged the staff members of NIPOST to remain dedicated in the discharge of their duties to attain greater heights.

Presenting a paper entitled “The Relevance of The Post in the Era of Information Technology ICT”,  a guest lecturer, Dr. Innocent Anidu advised NIPOST to take advantage of ICT and diversify their services.

Goodwill messages came from various federal establishments in the South-East Zone including the Nigeria Customs Service and the Federal Road Safety Corps.
