NO JAIL BREAK IN ENUGU….SAYS COMPTROLLER OF PRISONS, ENUGU STATE COMMAND

The Comptroller of Prisons, Enugu State Command, Mr. Boniface  Ogbodo has debunked reports that a jail break occurred in Enugu prisons in which two hundred inmates escaped.

A statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Emeka Monday says two convicted male inmates, Lucky Sama and Balogun Idom Joseph escaped from the prisons on the sixth of this month.

According to the statement, the Comptroller has ordered the deployment of intelligence unit and search party throughout the state and beyond.

The command is also collaborating with other security agents to arrest the escapees.
