IKPEAZU SWEARS IN ABAI AS SUBSTANTIVE CHIEF JUDGE OF ABIA STATE

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has sworn in Justice Lilian Abai as the substantive Chief Judge of the state.
At the event in Umuahia, Governor Ikpeazu charged Justice Abai to add value to the judicial family in Abia State and Nigeria at large.
The Governor commended her effort during her stint as acting Chief Judge and encouraged her to do more in her present capercity
In an acceptance speech, the new Chief Judge, Justice Lilian Abai, pledged to abide by her oath of office, improve the lot of the state judiciary and ensure smooth administration of justice.
The new Chief Judge further pledged to do her best to ensure speedy dispensation of justice in line with the modern best practices.
Justice Lilian Abai has been in acting capacity since October 27, 2022.
