IKPEAZU CONGRATULATES LP’S OTTI, URGES LOSERS NOT CHALLENGE HIS VICTORY IN COURT

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has congratulated the Governor-elect, Dr. Alex Otti of Labor Party, on his victory in the just concluded 2023 Gubernatorial Election in the state.

In a congratulatory message, by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor, Mr. Onyebuçhi Ememanka, Governor Ikpeazu explained that Dr. Otti had fought a long battle and deserved commendation for his resilience.

Governor Ikpeazu stressed the need of giving the Governor-Elect an enabling environment to run the affairs of state from May 29th, 2023 and advised candidates, who lost in election not to distract him with court cases.

Governor Ikpeazu gave Dr. Otti a full assurance that he would put in place every necessary measure to ensure a seamless transition of power

He thanked the people of the state for casting their votes in a very peaceful atmosphere and reminded them that peace remained very critical in the quest for sustainable development.

Governor Ikpeazu pledged to continue to discharge his duties as Governor until the 29th day of May, 2023.
