FRCN Enugu Zonal Station inaugurates digital transmitter for Coal City 92.9FM

The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria FRCN, Enugu Zonal Station has inaugurated a 10 Killowat digital transmitter for Coal City 92.9 FM, to boost broadcast and serve the people better.

At the inauguration of the equipment,on behalf of the Director General, the Zonal Director, FRCN, Enugu Zonal Station, Pastor Emmanuel Inegbedion, stated that the station more than ever before, would serve the needs of listeners, assuring them of better programming.

The Zonal Director commended the Director General FRCN, Doctor Mansur Liman, for making the digital transmitter a reality.

In a remark, the Director, Engineering Services, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Mr Sanda Askira Danboama, said the equipment was one of the latest digital technologies in transmitter manufacturing.

Mr. Askira urged the station’s engineers to protect and maintain the transmitter for effective performance.

In his contribution, the Deputy Director Engineering, Mr. Ote Nwokpoku, assured the management of FRCN and the public of the maintenance and effective service delivery by the station.

Earlier, the contractor, Mr. Muhammad Merhi, explained that the 10kw transmitter was very sophisticated and the latest in the industry.
