FEDERAL GOVERNMENT REASSURES NIGERIANS OF EQUITY IN PROVISION OF CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE.

The Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, Professor Claudius Daramola says the Federal Government is committed to ensuring that no part of the country will suffer any neglect as a result of its geographical location or political affiliation.

The Minister made this known during the inauguration of Okwe Obuobia Obi-Ibere road erosion control project in Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State.

He noted that the Federal Government’s projects across the country had demonstrated the sincerity of President Muhammadu Buhari’s led administration towards entrenching justice, equity and fair play in the nation.

In a message to the occasion, the Permanent Secretary, Ecological Fund office Abuja, Dr. Habiba Lawal said the project would go a long way to ensure the safety of lives and property of the people.

Some of the residents of the community commended the Federal Government for coming to their aid.

Our Correspondent reports that the Minister had earlier on arrival to the state paid a visit to the Governor who was represented by the Deputy Governor, Mr. Ude Okochukwu.
