ESHEW BITTERNESS, SHOW LOVE THIS CHRISTMAS — ARCHBISHOP CHUKWUMA ADMONISHES

Christians have been advised to do away with bitterness and hatred, but show love for one another in their daily lives.

The Archbishop of Enugu Ecclesiastical Province and Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Anglican Communion, the Most Reverend Emmanuel Chukwuma, gave the charge in a Christmas message to Nigerians.

The Most Reverend Chukwuma, urged the faithful to seek for repentance and also forgive their neighbours of any wrong done to them in the spirit of Christmas.

The Archbishop called on the faithful to be agents of transformation and live examplary life.

He emphased that, the season was not about display of wealth, but instead a period to care for the poor and the vulnerable in the society in a special way.

The Anglican Archbishop also called on the security operatives to ensure adequate security of lives and property of citizens during the period.

While wishing Nigerians a merry Christmas, Archbishop Chukwuma called on the government to provide basic amenities, especially at the rural areas to enhance the life of the people.

He also called on the government to do more to address hunger, provide employment to unemployed Nigerians and to tackle the rising spate of crime and insecurity in the nation.
