EMENE REHABILITATION CENTRE AND SOME ROADS IN ENUGU TO RECEIVE FACE LIFT

The Enugu State Government has approved over one billion naira for reconstruction of roads and rehabilitation and equipping of Emene Rehabilitation Centre. This  formed part of the Executive Council decision after  an extensive  meeting held at Government House Enugu which was made known to journalists by  the Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Mr. Greg Nnaji and his counter parts in Information, Mr. Ogbuagu Anikwe and that of Gender  Affairs and Social Development, Mrs Peace Nnaji.

Mr. Nnaji said that the Council approved over one billion for the reconstruction/rehabilitation of old UNTH – Bunker Road, Ngenevu- old UNTH Link  Road , Erosion Control Works at Okwuosa Street, Ogui New Layout among  others.

The Commissioner for Gender Affairs, Mrs Peace Nnaji noted that over forty-four million naira was approved for rehabilitation of the Emene Rehabilitation Centre. She said that skills acquisition and ICT Centres would be established to help improve the lives of the vulnerable persons at the Centre.

Also, the Commissioner for Information, Mr. Ogbuagu Anikwe enjoined teachers under the State employ to avail themselves of verification exercise slated for The Executive Council Meeting was the fourth in the series this year.
