EBONYI STATE GOVT DONATES 100 MOTORCYCLES TO SECURITY AGENCIES IN EZZA EFFIUM/EFFIUM COMMUNITIES

Ebonyi State Government has distributed one hundred motorcycles to the Police, Military and Neighbourhood Watch operatives on peace mission in the war torn Effium and Ezza Effium communities.
The State Commissioner for Internal Security, Mr. Stanley Okoroemegha, announced this during the handover of the first batch of the motorcycles to the police at Government House Abakaliki.
He noted that the procurement of the motorcycles was in keeping with promises made by Governor David Umahi to assist security agents to access remote areas.
Mr. Emegha explained that peace was gradually returning to Effium and Ezza Effium communities and called on security agents to use the motorcycles to further stabilize security in the area.
