ARMY REINFORCEMENT TEAM STORMS ANAMBRA

Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State has received the reinforcement team of the Nigerian Army comprising mainly females.

Governor Obiano, who welcomed the team at Dora Akuyili Women Development Center Awka, expressed the hope that the reinforcement team would make a difference in the security architecture of the state.

The Governor, who noted that the team would support in tackling challenges of #EndSARS violence, encouraged them to show gallantry in their day to day activities.

While explaining that the state was known for zero tolerance for crime, Chief Obiano called on the special re-inforcement team to use their professional training to keep the state safe.

He noted that their visibility with other security agencies would make a difference.

Governor Obiano assured all security agencies of his administration’s continued support with all logistics to enable them work effectively.

He urged them to fish out the perpetrators of the violence that resulted in the death and wonton destruction of public and private facilities.

The reinforcement team later appreciated the governor with a motivational song.
