ARCHBISHOP CHUKWUMA LAUDS FG FOR DECLARING BANDITS AS TERRORISTS

The Archbishop of Enugu Ecclesiastical Province, Anglican Communion, the Most Reverend Emmanuel Chukwuma, has commended the Federal Government for declaring bandits at terrorists.

Archbishop Chukwuma, also asked the government not to see the members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) as terrorists, but agitators seeking the attention of the government.

The Most Reverend Chukwuma, who is also the Bishop of Enugu Diocese, stated this in an interview with journalists in Enugu.

The Anglican prelate said with the declaration of bandits as terrorists, the Federal Government and the security agencies in the country were expected to deal decisively with the criminals.

He urged the government to intensify fight against kidnappers, who had succeeded in scaring Nigerians from travelling on the roads.
