Anambra State Government has adopted reports of the Committee of Anambra State Vision 2070 Development plans.

Governor Willie Obiano who adopted the report at a valedictory session held in his honour at the International Convention Center, Awka, commended the Chairman of the Committee and Governor- elect, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, saying that the plan when fully implemented would change the face of the state.

Governor Obiano appreciated the contributions of the 60-man committee, noting that it took them 30 months to deliver good report and plan for the state.

The Governor noted that the working document would guide governors yet to serve the state.

Governor Obiano reassured the Governor- elect, Professor Chukwuma soludo, that he would have a seamless administration.

Submitting the report, the Chairman of the Committee, Professor Charles Soludo thanked the Governor for the opportunity given them to serve.

Professor Soludo assured the Governor that his administration would ensure full implementation of the plan.

For the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, the 60-man committee inaugurated in 2019 to draft a development plan for the state, worked hard but was harmpered by the #EndSars protest and the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Anambra Vision 2070 plan is over 200 page document.
