FG REDUCES COST OF FORMS FOR JAMB UTME, NECO……

The Federal Government has reduced the cost of forms for some examinations such as the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, organised by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Examination Council, NECO, as well as the Basic Education Certificate Examination.

The Minister of Education, Alhaji Adamu Adamu made this known after the Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja.

Alhaji Adamu said the cost of JAMB UTME Form will drop from five thousand naira to three thousand, five hundred naira NECO will also drop from eleven thousand three hundred and fifty naira to nine thousand, eight hundred and fifty naira.

He said the reduction would take effect from January next year.
