FG PLEDGES GEOGRAPHICAL EQUITY AND FAIRNESS IN PROJECT EXECUTION

The Minister of State, Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Professor Claudius Daramola, says Federal Government would ensure that no part of the country suffers neglect owing to its geographical location or political affiliation.

The Minister made this known during the inauguration of Okweobuobia Obi-ibere road erosion control project in Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State.

Professor Daramola noted that the Federal Government’s projects across the country had demonstrated the sincerity of President Muhammadu Buhari’s led administration towards enthroning justice, equity and fairness in the nation.

The Permanent Secretary Ecological Fund office Abuja, Dr. Habiba Lawal, noted that the project would go a long way to ensure the safety of lives and property of the people.

Some residents of the community commended the Federal Government for coming to their aid.

The Minister had earlier on arrival to the state paid a courtesy visit to the state Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu.
