ENUGU STATE GOVT. PROMISES BETTER LIFE AT THE 2018 BUDGET BREAKDOWN
The effective implementation of Enugu State Budget for this year will ensure availability of world class infrastructure and transport network, better educated, healthy and productive citizens as well as robust dynamic civil service.
The Enugu state Commissioner for Finance, Mrs. Eucharia Offor, made this known during a budget breakdown in Enugu.
According to the Commissioner, this year’s capital receipts are over ₦42 billion while the planned capital expenditure stands at the same amount covering the economic, social, regional and administrative sectors.
The breakdown showed that Ministry of Works and Infrastructure received the highest allocation of over ₦15 billion out of the ₦103,000,000,000 for 2018 fiscal year.
Enugu state Universal Basic Education Board and the Ministry of Rural Development got more than three and two billion naira each.
