Governor Uzodimma used the opportunity to condole the Chief of Army Staff, the Nigeria Army and the families who lost their loved ones in the unfortunate incident.

“This action of today is going to be a major setback to that process and will also expose our people and make South East be portrayed in bad light as if we don’t have sympathy of human beings or as if the peace process is not being appreciated. So it’s been unfortunate,” he remarked.
