The Joint Accounts Allocation Committee, (JAAC) Building project initiated over twelve years ago by former Governor Theodore Orji’s administration in Abia State has been completed and inaugurated.

Governor Alex Otti, who completed the building within six months of the contractual schedule, praised the vision of the initiator of the project in spite their inability to complete it.

According to the Governor, government is a continuous process and re-emphasizing the committment of his administration towards completing projects left by previous administrations in the area.

He commended the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Uzo Nwachukwu, for seeing to the completion of the building.

The Commissioner, Prince Nwachukwu lamented that the project was neglected over the years with many materials carted away and funds mapped out for the completion allegedly embezzled.

Some beneficiaries of the JAAC building amongst whom are the Chairman of ALGON and Transition Committee chairman of Isialangwa South, Professor Elelenta Nwabuisi; and the Chairman, Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze Linus Mba, applauded Governor Otti for achieving the feat within a short period of time.
