HOPE FOR NYSC AS GOV OTTI PLEDGES TO ADDRESS TEETHING CHALLENGES

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has reassured the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in the state of better days ahead under his administration.

Governor Otti gave the assurance when he received the NYSC Abia State Coordinator, Mrs. Gladys Adama, who paid him a visit.

The Governor promised to look into the numerous challenges the scheme was facing with a view to giving the scheme a decent and secured work environment.

Earlier, the Coordinator NYSC Abia State, Mrs. Gladys Adama, while congratulating the Governor for his impactful one year in Office.

She appealed to the Governor to help address the deplorable condition of the NYSC state secretariat, the Orientation camp in Umunna, Bende Local Government Area and the State Coordinator’s residence.

She equally pleaded for increment in corps members’ allowance.
