VICTORY REACTION: OTTI COMMENDS TINUBU FOR NON INTERFERENCE

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has called on the people of the state with positive ideas, irrespective of political affiliations, ethnic and religious linings to join his government to take the state to enviable height.

Governor Otti, who made the call while speaking with newsmen after the reaffirmation of his victory by the Supreme Court in Abuja, said he was determined to restore the dignity of the state.

According to the Governor, his desire is to ensure that Abia is reckoned with positivity in the league of states in Nigeria.

Governor Otti thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for remaining firm in his resolve that the judiciary should be independent, noting that his non-intervention in the judiciary had brought about positive results in the country.

He also applauded the judiciary for not allowing the people’s will to be truncated by desperate politicians and had proved that it was indeed the last hope of the common man.

Governor Otti further thanked all the Governorship candidates especially those that did not go to court for being supportive as well as anointed men of God for their prayers.
