EBONYI STATE GOVT PROVIDES DOCTORS WITH OFFICIAL VEHICLES

Governor Francis Nwifuru has distributed Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) to Medical Doctors serving in the 14 General Hospitals in Ebonyi State.

Handing over the vehicles at the Government House Centenary City Abakaliki, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Monday Uzor explained that it was to further realize the revamping of the primary health sector in line with the administration’s People’s Charter of Needs blueprint on health.

He pointed out that the vehicles would help in achieving quality Health Care Service Delivery through the State Teaching and General Hospitals,.

Dr. Uzor urged the medical doctors to ensure they use the vehicles for their purposes in order to improve healthcare delivery to the people.

One of the beneficiaries, Dr. Okata Nwali, assured the Governor that they would work hard to revive the health sector of the State and bring it to the level he desired.
