VOTING COMMENCES LATE PARTS OF ABIA

Accreditation and voting commenced by 12:10pm at Osusu 2, ward 4, in Aba North Local Government Area of Abia State comprising 34 units.

A voter who did not want his name mentioned, told Radio Nigeria that the delay in voting was because INEC officials forgot the BVAS and ballot papers and had to go back to get them.

Meanwhile, the exercise was peaceful and orderly with the presence of security agents on ground.

In the meantime, a mammoth crowd of voters at Boys Technical College (BTC) Aba witnessed the arrival of INEC materials at 10:55am.

Speaking with Radio Nigeria, two voters, Mr. Chibueze Obiano and Mr. Jimmy Emmanuel, frowned at the late coming by INEC officials and urged them to ensure that the teeming number of voters actually exercised their franchise.

Accreditation was still going on at 11:40am in the area made up of wards 3 and 9 with 45 units.
