NYSC DG TO CORPS MEMBERS: CONTRIBUTE TO DEVPT OF YOUR HOST COMMUNITIES

The Director General National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Yushau Dogara Ahmed, has urged corps members to sustain the spirit of patriotism, hard work and resilience, which they imbibed during their Orientation Course.
Brigadier Ahmed stated this in a message to the closing of the 2023 batch A stream 1 Orientation course at the NYSC permanent site Umunna Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.
Represented by the coordinator of the scheme in Abia State, Mrs. Ufuoma Iruenabere, Brigade General Ahmed, enjoined corps members to strive to meet the expectations of Nigerians by contributing towards the progress and development of the country.
He urged corps members to perform their duties with diligence and be guided by the provisions of the NYSC Act and Bye-Laws as well as workplace rules and regulations.
The NYSC Director General enjoined them to undertake personal and group Community Development Service Projects that would help to uplift the living standard of their host communities.
The event, which was low keyed, had 1,216 corps members participate in the orientation exercise.
