I WILL ACCOUNT FOR EVERY KOBO GENERATED FROM TAX — SOLUDO

Anambra State Government says it is planning to establish community governance as the fourth tier of government for efficient service delivery.

Professor Soludo made this known when he met with community leaders of various communities in the 21 local government of the state at government House Awka.

Professor Soludo explained that the model employed in development of the state was through the public community Private Partnership, even as he expressed optimism that the state would develop speedily, when adopted properly.

Governor Soludo while thanking the community leaders for their support since the inception of his administration, said that within nine months, he had been able to achieve giant feats in the five cardinal goals of his administration.

Governor Soludo expressed hope that the reformed security architecture put in place would go a long way to ensure massive home coming of the people during the festive period.

The Governor encouraged the citizens in the diaspora to key into the think-home initiative of his administration by massively deploying their resources to fast track the development of the state.

He stressed that his administration came when finances of the state was lean, but was able to surmount the challenges and had paid backlog of pensions and recently recruited doctors and 5000 teachers.

Governor Soludo, who noted that despite the onerous task ahead, his administration had resolved to conserve the resources at its disposal by giving the citizenry succour and value for their money.

Governor Soludo promised the people that every kobo generated through taxation would be duly accounted for, adding that he was determined to reestablish trust with the people.

Earlier, in a speech, the State President of ASATU, Mr. Titus Akwaudo, extolled Governor Soludo for the achievements so far made in his short time in office.

He also reassured the Governor that they would give maximum support to all government policies and programmes.
