GOV IKPEAZU DISSOLVES 17 COUNCIL CHAIRMAN IN ABIA

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has approved the dissolution of all the 17 Local Government Chairmen in the state following the expiration of their stay in office.
In a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Chris Ezem, Governor Ikpeazu directed the Chairmen to handover to the head of Service of their various local government areas.
The Governor thanked them for their services and wished them well in their future endeavours.
The statement explained that the dissolution was with immediate effect.
