BIRTH OF CHRIST INITIATED MAN’S SALVATION — PASTOR CORNELIUS

The birth of Jesus Christ has been described as the birth of glad tidings that has brought joy peace and salvation to the world.

The resident pastor Living Faith Church Winners Chapel Agbani Road, Enugu, Pastor Alexander Cornelius, who stated this during his Christmas sermon, said the birth of Jesus Christ was what initiated salvation.

Pastor Cornelius maintained that the benefits of the birth of Jesus Christ were unquantifiable, mentioning some as: the Gospel which is the good tidings as captured in the book of Luke 2:10 to 14; Great joy; Access to light; Fruitful labour; Peace and Removing the barrier between man and God, which reconciled man to God.

He admonished Christians to emulate the humility and exemplary life of Jesus.

Two members of the congregation, Dr. Elijah Onwudiwe and Deconess Nneka Okeke, stated that Christmas had brought them peace, joy and fulfilment as Christians.

The service featured Christmas rendition, thanks giving and opportunity for rededication of lives to Christ.
