POLICE DEPLOY 184 RECRUITS TO ANAMBRA STATE

One hundred and eighty-four new recruits of the Nigeria Police Force have been redeployed to Anambra State.

The 2020 recruits intake passed out from the Police College Oji River in Enugu State.

Addressing the new recruits at the Police headquarters, Awka, the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Echeng Echeng, emphasized that their success as policemen was dependent on the quality of their character, discipline and professionalism.

In a statement, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr. Tochukwu Ikenga, said CP Echeng charged them not to engage in any act capable of undermining their reputation and that of the Nigeria Police Force as they were being posted to their area of responsibility in the state.

The statement said the Commissioner of Police, while thanking the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Baba Usman, and his management team on the initiative of manpower development and deployment of the policemen in line with the concept of community policing principles, reiterated that the Command was more motivated in enhancing public safety and peace in the state.
