Mr. Kwarra stressed that the conduct of a Trial Census, would enable the commission plug the loopholes, which might be encountered during the actual counting.

He announced that 7,718 Enumeration Areas had been selected for the Trial Census across the country.

The Executive Chairman of NPC said that the training of personnel recruited for the exercise had been completed and urged for the support of stakeholders to ensure its success.

He appealed to security agents in the select areas to assist in securing its field staff and materials.

Contributing, the Director of NPC in Anambra State, Dr. Joachim Ulasi, explained that the commission foiled attempts to hack into its portal for the electronic recruitment.

Also, reacting to questions raised during the briefing, the Coordinator of the Trial Census in Anambra State, Mr. Muka Folami, assured that only people who registered as instructed were recruited for training as ad-hoc personnel.
