OBINNA ONUZULIKE TAKES YPP TICKET FOR NJIKOKA 1 CONSTITUENCY

Mr. Obinna Onuzulike has emerged the consensus candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) for Njikoka One Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, ahead of the 2023 election.

Mr. Onuzulike was elected unopposed during one of the House of Assembly primary elections held at Enugwu-Ukwu.

The Returning Officer, Mr. Makachi Ogene, said that 21 delegates participated in the election.

In a speech, the Chairman of YPP in Njikoka Local Government Area, Mr. Obiora Nweke, urged the candidate to keep to the party’s manifesto and offer his people quality representation, if elected at the polls.

In an acceptance speech, Mr.Obinna Onuzulike thanked the delegates for finding him worthy of the trust and pledged that if elected, he would focus on youth empowerment and offer quality, exemplary and accountable service to his constituents.

Radio Nigeria notes that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC team, led by Mr
Benjamin, observed the exercise, which was conducted in a peaceful atmosphere.
