The Leader of labour unions in the state, Comrade Leonard Nkah, made the request other while briefing journalists on the resolution of the state workers as they marked their Day in Abakaliki.

Comrade Nkah noted that the call become expedient considering that the administration was running out of time while the incoming Governor might see the recruitment as a ploy to increase the state wage bill.
