EID EL FITRI: PUT ALL LESSONS OF RAMADAN INTO PRACTICE—UMUAHIA CHIEF IMAM

Muslim faithful have been urged to use the period of Eid El fitri to pray for peaceful co-existence of country.

The Chief Imam Umuahia Central Mosque, Alhaji Abdulahi Lawal, stated this during Eid prayer at Eket Mosque in Umuahia Abia State.

The Chief Imam enjoined Muslim faithful to put into practice all the lessons they learnt during the Ramadan

He called on both Muslim and Christian faithful to show love to one another irrespective of religious differences as all were decendants of Adam.

The Sarikin Hausawa of Abia State, Alhaji Yaro Danladi, while wishing the faithful a peaceful Sallah celebration urged them to shun all forms of violence and embrace peace and love for the country to move to greater height.

Some Muslim faithful, in an interview, thanked Allah for keeping them live to witness another Eid El fitri celebration.
