World Bank calls for the review of Nigeria’s non-oil tax fund

The World Bank has called for the review of Nigeria’s non-oil tax revenue as a substitute for revenue generation.

The Lead Economist of the World Bank, Mr. John Litwack, made the recommendation in Abuja at the presentation of the third edition of the Nigeria Economic Report.

The report focused on the critical challenges in the country, cost of fuel subsidy and how to harness the potentials of the gas sector.
