TRADITIONAL RULERS IN ENUGU STATE EXTOL GOVERNOR UGWUANYI FOR IMPACTING ON THE LIVES OF THE PEOPLE

Traditional rulers in Enugu State have commended Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on his victory at the Court of Appeal in an election petition brought against him by Senator Ayogu Eze.

A statement by the Chairman, Enugu State Council of Traditional Rulers, Ambassador Lawrence Agubuzu, indicated that the royal fathers also commended Governor Ugwuanyi for ensuring peace and security in the state.

It further expressed the happiness of the traditional rulers with infrastructure development of the Governor, especially road construction across the state, and payment of entitlements to workers, pensioners and political office holders.

The commendation followed a resolution taken by the traditional rulers at the end of their meeting in Enugu where they expressed satisfaction with the handling of their affairs by the Commissioner for Chieftaincy Matters, Fidelis Ani.
