POLICE WARN AGAINST ANTI- GOVERNMENT PROTEST SCHEDULED TODAY
The Enugu State Command of the Nigeria Police says its attention has been drawn to an alleged planned protest in Enugu by some group of people scheduled for today.
A statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. EbereAmarizu advises parents and guardians to caution their children and wards against engaging in activities that could bring them in conflict with the law as anyone caught, will be dealt with accordingly.
The command maintains that no person or group of persons will be allowed to wreck havoc on the lives and property of the law abiding members of the public or threaten the existing peace in the state under any guise.
It therefore urges the citizenry to go about their lawful businesses.
