PRESIDENT MOHAMMADU BUHARI EXTENDS HIS RETURN FROM VACATION ON MEDICAL ADVICE
President Mohammadu Buhari has written to the National Assembly to inform it of his desire to extend his leave to enable him to complete and receive the result of series of tests recommended by his doctors.
A statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity,Mr Femi Adesina said the president had planned to return to Abuja on Sunday but was advised to complete the test cycle before returning.
The notice has since been dispatched to the Senate President and the Speaker House of representatives.
It states that President Buhari expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their concern and prayers.
