OFFICERS AND MEN OF THE NSCDC CAUTIONED AGAINST SOCIAL VICES

The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Anambra State, Mr. John Ahwen has decorated seventy two newly promoted officers of the corps with their new ranks. Addressing the officers, He advised them to brace up with challenges of the time in line with the global demands, having been entrusted with a higher responsibility.

He reminded them that the promotion was in recognition of their hard work, urging them to attach seriousness to the various new positions they were occupying. Mr Ahwen urged them to cultivate the culture of building good relationship with sister paramilitary agencies on co-coordinating its activities.

Mr Ahwen, however, warned the Officers to be good Ambassadors and stay away from vices that could tarnish the image of the service. He further reminded the officers that the promotion exercise was a
continuous one, calling on those still expecting theirs to be patient with the Corps. Only two Officers, Assistant Commandants,  AC OjuOkafor and Eme Ugwuogu were  promoted to Deputy Commandants, thirteen officers decorated as Chief Superintendent Corps among others.
