GOV. UGWUANYI PLEDGES TO BUILD NEW COURT FACILITIES IN ENUGU STATE

The Enugu State Governor Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has approved for construction, Court buildings in the judicial divisions and magisterial districts across the state. At an event for the official commencement of the project at the State Magistrate Court premises in Enugu, Chief Ugwuanyi said his administration would ensure that the justice system maintained its pride of place. The Governor said the project would be spread across the three senatorial zones.

The Chief Judge of the state, Justice Priscilia Emehelu commended the state government for its efforts to provide befitting structures for officers of the bench. Justice Emehelu assured him of their commitment towards ensuring quick dispensation of Justice.

Also, the State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Mr. Greg Nnaji explained that the structures would be of global standard. During the event, three new vehicles were handed over to the three newly appointed Judges of the High Court.
