GLOBAL COMMUNITY MARKS WORLD POPULATION DAY
Today is World population Day
The event is put together to raise awareness about population- related issues around the world. Those issues include overpopulation, under population and populations growing too fast
The event which was initiated twenty nine years ago by the Governing Council of the United Nations Development Programme also dealt with the different ways of managing the population through birth and death registrations.
The theme of this year’s event is “family Planning is a Human Right.
