FEMALE LOVER DIES AFTER A HOTEL VISIT IN ENUGU

A woman identified as Mrs. Ifeanynwa Udeh of Ugboezeji, Abakpa Nike in Enugu State has been confirmed dead after she went to see her lover in a hotel close to Nowas  Junction Trans -Ekulu Enugu. A statement by the Police Public Relations Office, Enugu State command, Mr. Ebere Amarizu indicated that the late Ifeyinwa Udeh was said to be in the hotel room with her lover, one Joel Ugwu of Abakpa Enugu before she allegedly fell unconscious and was rushed to St Leo hospital  where she gave up the ghost.

According to the statement, the lover now in police net claimed that deceased complained of ill health after taking a bottle of malt drink and bottled water he allegedly bought for her. The statement said that the body of the deceased had been deposited at the Parklane Hospital Mortuary for autopsy while the police commenced investigation into the matter.

The police said that items recovered from the scene at the hotel room were remains of some dangerous tablets/capsules and other likely evident  which would aid operatives in their investigations.
