ENUGU MOTORISTS COMMEND AN INDEPENDENT MARKETER SELLING PETROL AT THE APPROVED PUMP PRICE.

As the hick in the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit lingers, an independent marketer in Enugu, Chief Peter Mbah who has been selling the product at the government approved price of ₦145 per litre affirms that he still makes his gains from the  business.

Chief Mbah who has his fuel station along Chime Avenue New Haven explained that five trucks of PMS which came down  from Lagos were being sold at the government approved pump price of ₦145 per litre.

Speaking in an interview, the Sales Supervisor of the filling station in the South East, Mrs. Amaka Okonkwo said they were committed to easing the sufferings of the people by selling at government approved pump price.

Some commuters interviewed including Mr. Frank Anioma, Mr. Okechukwu Duru and Mr. Okey Eze expressed surprise that an Independent Marketer despite some sabotage, insisted on selling petrol at government approved price of one ₦145 per litre.

They called on other petroleum marketers to use the New Year to revert to the approved price to reduce the suffering of the masses.

Radio Nigeria gathered that the filling station which also has a branch at Agbani Road is among few that sells at government approved price.
