APC CRISIS IN ENUGU STATE DEEPENS WITH COUNTER SUSPENSION OF MEMBERS

Enugu mapTwenty members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Enugu State, have been suspended from the party. A statement by the embattled State Chairman of the party, Dr. Ben Nwoye indicates the affected persons are disciplined for contravening certain sections of the party’s constitution.

According to the statement the affected individuals have seven days from the date of the notice to file an appeal against the action. It states that the National Secretariat of the party has been notified of their suspension. The suspended members include the Deputy Chairman of the party, Mr. Adolphus Udeh, the woman leader; Lolo Queen Nwankwo and the youth leader, Mr. Ikechhukwu Oloto.

The statement bars them from attending any function organnised or sponsored by APC. It warns that members of the public dealing with them as members of the party do so at their own risk.
