An Enugu State Civil Servant smiles home with three million naira

There was great jubilation at Fidelity Bank Plc, Polo Park Mall, Enugu as the star prize winner of three million naira of the “Get Alert in Millions promo” Mr. Ifeanyi  Victor Nwafia, friends and well wishers danced joyfully as he was presented with the cheque.

The Head of the Bank in Enugu and Ebonyi States, Mr. Leonard Ezugwu explained that the “Get Alert in Millions Promo” which started last year was aimed to encourage customers to save and increase their bank’s savings in the process.

Mr. Ezugwu said the draw for the promo which holds on quarterly basis saw the emergence of Mr. Ifeanyi Nwafia as the star winner of the last quarter in December 2016.

‘’What qualifies you is that you are a customer of Fidelity Bank and you top up your savings account regularly within the quarter, Ifeanyi does not know anybody in Fidelity Bank, it’s just a pick from the pool. Everything is electronically handled’’.

Mr. Ezugwu said other consolation Prizes such as refrigerators and generating sets were still available for customers wishing to join the Promo.  He noted that the bank was well known for its integrity urging the general public to open a savings account and make regular top up of their account within the quarter to qualify for the promo which ends in July this year.

Expressing his joy, the Star Prize Winner, Mr. Ifeanyi Nwafia, an Enugu State Civil Servant said he was short of words and not even aware of the promo.

‘’I didn’t even know about the promo. Actually, it was even surprise the day I got the call, I was even thinking it’s 419 people. I threatened the person that they should not call me again. But in everything I found out is real not a joke’’.

Mr. Nwafia thanked the Management of the Bank for redeeming the prize which he described as the handwork of God and promised to keep the flag of Fidelity Bank Plc. flying.
