The chairman of Enugu Rangers international football club supporters club Mr. Ibukwu Nwodo has described the just concluded public trials of both new and old players that will make up the coal city team in the upcoming seasons as a right step in the right direction. Mr. Nwodo told Radio Nigeria that the fans have been calling for an overhaul of the team but it seems to fall on deaf ears. According to him it is no business as usual as government of the state has rose to the occasion. He however urged the slumbering fans to get revived because the football season in the county will have the state club leading every table of football tournaments. Enugu Rangers finished 12th on the table in 2014/2015 season of the Nigeria professional football league NPFL. The 2015/2016 season of the NPFL will start on 24th February, 2016.
