Nigeria Under 17 Women, The Flamingoes Qualify For 2016 World Cup In Jordan
Nigeria’s U-17, the flamingoes have qualified for the 2016 FIFA U-17 Womens world cup billed for Jordan.
Coach Bala Nkuyu’s girls recorded a 1-0 victory over hosts South Africa at the Makhilong stadium to qualify 7-0 on aggregate.
Nigeria joined fellow West Africans Cameroon and Ghana to represent the continent at the FIFA showpiece.
Countries that have also qualified include hosts Jordan, Japan, North Korea, United States of America, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Paraguay, Venezuela and New Zealand for the competition to hold between 30th of September to 21st of October this year.
