MGT LEAGUEThe League Management Company has announced that 2015/2016 season of the Nigeria professional football league will kick-off on February 21 and end on October 2. The L.M.C said it has been drawn up based on usual consultation with participating clubs and proposed fixtures of the Nigeria football federation cup. Meanwhile, the first round of the NPFL super 4 will hold in Kaduna from January 20 to January 24 while the second round will be played in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state from February 1 to February 5. According to the LMC the rationale for the two rounds of NPFL super 4 is to get the clubs that will be playing on the continental to play at least six competitive games from two tournaments to adequately prime them to reasonable match fitness.
