Atletico Madrid defeated Bayern Munich 1-0 at the Vincente Calderon in the first leg of their semi final match of the UEFA Champions League to take a slim advantage into the return leg next week Tuesday at the Allianze Arena in Germany.

Atletico’s Saul Niguez scored the game’s only goal in the 11th minute when he finished off a brilliant individual effort.
