YOUTHS OF AGBAJA COMMUNITY URGED TO EMBRACE PEACE FOLLOWING ATTACK BY ARSONISTS

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has appealed to youths of Agbaja Community in Izzi Local Government Area to embrace peace following the burning of houses and property by suspected arsonists.

Governor Umahi who visited the community for on the spot assessment, frowned on the level of destruction in the area and directed police to arrest the perpetrators.

He emphasised that the violence was not political motivated and announced the setting up of a committee to reconcile the warring groups.

Governor Umahi charged the community members to arrest anyone seen with guns and take the person to the police for prosecution.
