WOMEN AND YOUTH WINGS OF OHANAEZE NDIGBO WARNED TO STAY CLEAR OF PARTISAN POLITICS

National Executives of Women and Youth Wings of OhanaezeNdigbo Worldwide have been urged to champion the socio economic development of the Igbo land.

The President General of OhanezeNdigbo Worldwide, Chief NniaNwodo made the call during the inauguration of executive members of women and youths wings of the organization in Enugu.

Chief Nwodo who addressed the executive members in Igbo Language advised them to be united and speak with one voice.

The President General pointed out that OhanezeNdigbo was not a political party and warned them not to be involved in partisan politics.

He expressed optimism that the move towards restructuring the country would be realized.

In an interview, the National Women Leader, Dame GladyNwafor pledged that the women would work towards the restoration of family, social and cultural values of Ndigbo.

Also in interview, the Deputy Youth National President, Kingsley Chidozie who spoke on behalf of the National Youth President, Mr. Arthur Obiora gave an assurance that the youth would help to realize the vision and mission of OhanaezeNdigbo.

The event was attended by people from all walks of life, including the Chairman, Traditional Rulers Council, Enugu State, Igwe Lawrence Agubuzu.
