OHANEZE NDIGBO VOWS TO RESIST ANY ATTEMPT TO MANIPULATE RESULT OF ANAMBRA GUBER ELECTION
Ahead of 
this Saturday’s gubernatorial election in Anambra State, the Ohaneze Ndigbo said any attempt to rig, manipulate or impose results on the people of Anambra would be seriously resisted.
The President General Ohaneze Ndigbo , Chief John Nnia Nwodo stated this at the meeting of Ohaneze Ndigbo Enugu State Chapter held at its Secretariat in Enugu.
Chief Nwodo maintained that the Saturday election is very important to Ndigbo in general saying that Ohaneze was insistent that the votes of Ndi Anambra must be respected.
The President of Ohaneze Enugu state Chapter, Chief Alex Ogbonnia Commended the peaceful conduct of Local Government election in Enugu State and urged any aggrieved persons or groups to sheath their swords and work with those elected in the overall interest of the state.
He maintained that Ohaneze Ndigbo, Enugu State, the Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC, town union presidents and youth organizations in the state would continue to collaborate with the Enugu State Government in ensuring that the area moved to the next level.
The Ohaneze Ndigbo Enugu State also commended the good works of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and urged him not to relent.
Ndigbo were urged on the occasion to shun money politics to ensure the enthronement of credible leaders in the South East Zone.
