IMPOSITION OF CANDIDATES: GovRochasOkorocha AccusesAdams Oshiomohle of Denting the Credibility of APC

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has reaffirmed his support for the second term bid of President Muhammadu Buhari in next year’s elections.

Addressing Journalists in Owerri, Governor Okorocha exonerated the president from the crisis during the primary election that rocked the ruling All Progressives Congress in some States of the federation.

The Governor however accused the National Chairman of APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomohle of denting the image and credibility of the party through what he described as imposition of candidates especially in Imo State.

Chief Okorocha noted that many aggrieved members of the APC in the State were set to dump the party for other platforms to realize their ambition.

Governor Okorocha insisted that his embattled former Chief of staff, Mr. Uche Nwosu remained his preferred candidate for next year’s gubernatorial election in the State.

The Governor said his urban renewal policy was still on course noting that every project undertaken by his administration would be completed before February next year.
